This VW is owned by a fellow AACA car club member and used when he was not driving his other collectibles. The restoration was done well but, as you can see by the photos, the fender strips were painted the same color as the body. Some prefer that, others do not. The interior is very nice and comfortable done in the tan and brown sequence. The VW has been garage kept and used less 500 miles per year which can be verified by the Delaware Department of Transportation. It runs strong and drives well. It is certainly an eye catcher and active, serious bidders can talk directly to the owner. I (and the owner) are members of the National AACA club and provide references of our ethics and reputation. Inspections are by appointment up to 24 hours before the auction ends. To all bidders: I have helped my customers sell their vehicles for many years.
